Introduction

Every once in a while, I'll have an idea that I just can't forget. It lingers. It grows. It festers. Until I've seen it become reality.

A few weeks ago, I had an idea. That idea led to this blog. I needed an outlet...a reason to write, a reason to take creative pictures. So, Picture Perfect Plating was born. It combines three of my favorite things: writing, photography, and food. As an Italian, I consider cooking an art form. As an amateur photographer, it is my goal to capture it all. And as a writer, I hope to narrate the journey of domesticity, discovery, and I'm sure, (every once in a while) culinary disaster.

The Goal: to make at least one recipe every week, post it here, and illustrate it step by step with pictures.
